- We all are very well aware that SARS CoV-2 continues to be active in the state and some parts of the country. Hence the entire tournament will be conducted abiding the recent Covid guidelines declared by the Govt. of Odisha.
- Omicron virus: A new variant of SARS-CoV-2 has been classified as variant of concern by WHO. Such variant has been detected in many parts of the globe internationally. Please ensure travelers from the below specified countries are not in the list of players/staffs/visitors/guests.
Countries in Europe including the United Kingdom, South Africa, Brazil, Bangladesh, Botswana, China, Mauritius, New Zeland, Zimbabwe, Singapore, Hong Kong & Israel.
Few important points to be noted:
- All players & support staff will be thermo scanned before entering to the players room and will be asked to leave the ground in case of high fever or suspected COVID related symptoms.
- There will not be any paper players list shared rather cric-heroes app will be used to nominate playing 11. Please make sure you have your complete team including extra players added to the cric-heroes app max by 17th December 2021.
- Maintain physical distancing of at least 6 feet between all people when watching games from the boundary or other viewing areas.
- Physical distancing must be adhered for all team discussions, wicket celebrations etc. Avoid huddles, high-fives, handshakes etc.
- Avoid shaking hands with opponents, officials and teammates before, during and after matches. Rather let’s use punch.
- Where possible, arrive at grounds in uniform and leave as soon as possible after the match.
- Players are to use their own bats from participant packs, if they do not have a single bat assign then ensure the common bat it is disinfected before and after use.
- Ensure activities are spaced far enough apart to adhere to physical distancing hygiene and behavior.
- All must cover mouth and nose with tissue or sneeze into elbow (not hands) when coughing or sneezing.
- Avoid close contact with people who are unwell.
- Do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean.
- Players should not to shine the ball with saliva or sweat at any time.
- Do not share drink bottles or cups.
